Rules/How To Play

Rules/How To Play
Characters begin the rpg with a (PL)Power Level of 1,(EL)Energy Level of 150, and a (HL) Health Level of 100. Moves start out as kick, punch, dodge, and block.Plus all characters begin on Earth with .

EL: This is the amount of energy that your character has. In order to perform several abilities, you spend a certain amount of energy. Each ability uses its own respective amount, so some moves will drain you more than others. So be smart and think out your attack strategy before you go and just shoot all the blasts you know and drain your EL.

HL: This is how much health you have, or better put, how much your character can take. Each attack does a certain amount of damage. The damage is subtracted from your HL. You really can't do much with this in a battle. So try to raise it.

PL: This is your power level, as if you didn't already know. This is basicly how powerful you are. HL and PL are kinda the same, but not in a way.

Your character is yours to control. If that character remains inactive for two weeks, then I will remove you from the RPG and that character will be available to those who do want to be apart of this RPG.

I allow only one person from the same e-mail to join this RPG. I mean that if you have brothers or sisters or whatever then talk to me about it. So the rule is One from the same e-mail, if neccessary talk to me and I might change it to two but only for like brothers and sisters. I have strict rules when it comes to this so e-mail me first about it before telling me that you need two.

To do anything in this rpg you send us an email with your character name in the subject. Of course if your training then email me when you have finished that training session.

A new rule adds a bit of fun to the rpg. It is Kidnapping. Characters can kidnap other characters and ransom them off for money or items. The rules for this are as follows. The person who is taking the hostage has to have at least four times more PL than the person they are kidnapping. The captured person cannot train, spar, or do anything else while captured. They have to go where ever the Capturer goes. The living can't capture the dead, so please remember that and that you have to be on the same planet as whoever you are kidnapping. You can only hold a person for a week, so after a week you either must let them go,or battle them to the death.

To those who wish to rescue the captured character, will rescue the hostage like a battle. You can either sneak in,if you have 4x the stats of the capturer, sneak out with the hostage,or you can fight and kill the capturer. If you kill a capturer you will recieve the gratitude of the victim and a free item to benefit your character.

  Training
Training is a way to raise your power level. You can only train alone. In a training center or in your spacepod, if it has a gravitron. To figure what your PL gain would be when training just view the Training Chart. I created it and that is what I go by when distributing the PL gain of those characters. Another way to train is in a Gravitron. You have to buy this in order to use one, unless a friend has one. Your PL increases more in a graavitron than regular training. The PL Gain in a gravitron can be viewed with the Gravitron Chart.

  Sparring
Sparring is actually the best way to raise your PL gain. If you get the ultimate combo of sparring with friends in a gravitron then your in luck. Sparring is also the best way to increase your EL and HL.You must be sparring with another opponent or friend. No one dies when sparring.

  Battles
This is the only way to get money, besides tournaments. In a battle you will most likely be sending someone to the Next Dimension. There will be a winner, loser, or a tie.

You actually fight with the opponent. You both take turns attacking eachother, with whatever attacks the two of you know. You will then subtract the damage and do your math. In a chatroom battle each opponent has four(4) blocks and one(1) dodge.

The blocks are used whenever you don't feel like losing HL. You simply say blocks the attack. but then you lose a block and only have three left. The dodge is different. It is only used for moves like Time Freeze, Destructo Disc, or Solar Flare. You only get one of these so use it wisely.

If there is a draw both players receives . I have my own way of chalculating the PL distribution so please don't worry about that. I assure you it is done in a fair manner. The winner of a battle will gain 400 to their EL/HL and the loser 200 to their EL/HL. In a draw both get 100 to their EL/HL.

(NOTE: you and the opponent have to be on the same planet to have a battle.) PL, HL, and EL are distributed after the end of a battle. If you lose the battle but are not killed then you must eat a senzu bean or heal in a Healing Tank.

Attacks

Attacks are what you use to kill or injure other opponents. In this RPG they are required to survive. Attacks are listed in the abilities section. In there lists the name iof the attack, how much damage it causes, and how much energy is needed for the attack.

Solar Flare, Destructo Disc, and Time Freeze cannot be blocked, They can only be dodged. Tsuihidin has to be blocked by two blocks. meaning if you are attacked by this, you either take the hit or block. So if you had 3 blocks, and block Tsuihidin, you now have 1 block left.

Tri-Form: Ok it takes one turn to do Tri-Form and it lasts till the end of battle or till you end it. After that you will x3 the damage of whatever attack you use in Tri-Form, or in otherwords, it is like three of you attacking one person, so NO they can't block all three unless they know Ki Barrier. If you are in Tri-Form and fire the Kamehameha that would be a total of 15,000D but since it is three seperate blasts, the opponent can block only one of them so it would end up doing 10,000D

Dying

Those who are killed in a battle will be sent to the Next Dimension. You are required to stay in the Next Dimension for a week. After that time you can either leave or stay, it all depends on you.

If you are killed in the Next Dimension you will be sent to Hell. In Hell you will stay for a week unless someone wishes you back to where you died. In Hell all you can do is train or kill the other characters with you. If you are killed in Hell your character will be removed from the rpg, and you will have to start over.

If you are sent to the Next Dimension more than 6 times than you must be wished back by another character. If you are sent to Hell more than 6 times than that character will be removed from the rpg and you will have to start over.

Traveling

To travel from planet to planet you will need a space ship. There are several types of space ships or pods. Each ship/pod takes a certain time to travel from planet to planet. They also hold a certain amount of characters.

Namek ship: it can hold ten characters and takes 5 days to travel from planet to planet.
Saiyan Pod: it can hold only one character and takes 2 days to travel from planet to planet.
C.C. Pod: it can hold infinite characters. It takes 4 days to travel from planet to planet.
Spacepod: it holds one character and takes 4 days to travel from planet to planet.

You can purchase a gravity enhancer and a Healing Tank for all ships. Henchman and Saibamen do not count as Characters, but Clones do. You can spar on any ship with a henchman or saibaman, but if it holds only one character and you wish to take your Clone you cannot. Another thing is that some of the ships/pods can only be bought on a certain planet.

DragonBalls

There are three different sets of DragonBalls in DB Universe. Earth Balls, Namek Balls, and Black Star the in World. Each set has its own rules. To read the rules view the DragonBalls section.
